Executive Assistant to the Vice President - Advancement
The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Vice President of Advancement/Executive Director of the Foundation. This role involves managing the VP’s complex calendar, coordinating high-level meetings and travel, and ensuring the VP is fully prepared with briefings and key information.

Responsibilities
Manage the VP’s complex calendar
Coordinate high-level meetings and travel
Ensure the VP is fully prepared with briefings and key information
Handle sensitive communications
Draft correspondence
Independently resolve inquiries or direct them to the appropriate leaders
Manage travel arrangements
Process expenses
Stay current on policies and procedures that impact the Division
Support the Foundation Board Manager in planning and executing Board meetings, special projects, event coordination, and divisional initiatives as assigned
Qualification
Required
Graduation from high school or equivalent education and five (5) years of progressively responsible administrative support experience which included overseeing administrative office activities, maintaining complex records, and coordinating administrative communication including written and oral information to various managers and work groups; OR
One (1) year of experience as an Administrative Assistant IV in Nevada State service which included administrative support duties as described above; OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience as described above

Preferred
Candidates with knowledge of standard operating procedures and best practices in a business environment, NSHE policies and Nevada open meeting law are encouraged to apply
Seeking candidates with strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in Outlook and Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, M365 Copilot), as well as Workday and Zoom, is preferred
