Sr Manager, Legal Operations
Morae is seeking an experienced Legal Operations Technology Manager to lead the implementation and optimization of automation and AI-driven technology solutions, focusing on Contract Lifecycle Management. The role involves supporting a global legal organization by enhancing operational effectiveness, driving adoption of technology solutions, and ensuring successful integration of legal technology systems.
Responsibilities
Support the operational effectiveness of a global legal function, including planning, communications, and employee engagement initiatives
Partner with legal leadership to support department-wide programs, priorities, and change initiatives
Provide input into budget planning and oversee financial management for legal operations and technology initiatives
Coordinate communications across the legal organization and support engagement efforts in a distributed, global environment
Support special projects focused on simplifying, standardizing, and scaling legal processes
Build strong working relationships across legal teams, HR, IT, and other cross-functional partners
Stay current on legal operations, legal technology, and regulatory trends through internal and external benchmarking
Lead the end-to-end implementation, configuration, and optimization of Sirion CLM to support the full contract lifecycle—from drafting and negotiation through execution, obligation management, and archival
Act as the primary Sirion subject-matter expert, owning system design, workflows, integrations, governance, and ongoing enhancements
Drive the adoption of AI and automation capabilities within Sirion to improve contract drafting, review, approvals, negotiations, and execution
Enable automated playbooks, AI-assisted contract review, and negotiation workflows to accelerate deal velocity and improve risk management
Partner closely with legal teams (e.g., commercial, international, employment) and cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., sales, procurement, pricing, revenue, finance) to align priorities and remove bottlenecks in deal execution
Deploy AI-enabled tools for clause analysis, deviation detection, obligation tracking, and risk prediction to improve negotiation outcomes and compliance
Analyze existing contract workflows to identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, increase speed, and enhance scalability
Develop and maintain contract templates, clause libraries, workflows, and automation protocols to ensure consistency, compliance, and quality across a high-volume contracting environment
Serve as a key liaison between Legal and IT to ensure successful integration of Sirion with enterprise systems
Develop training materials and deliver training sessions to drive adoption and effective use of Sirion across global legal teams
Track performance metrics and user feedback to continuously improve contract automation and legal technology solutions
Qualification
Required
Proven, hands-on experience leading or playing a key role in a Sirion CLM implementation within a complex, enterprise legal environment
5+ years of experience in legal operations, legal technology, or contract management, with a strong focus on automation and AI-driven solutions
Demonstrated success implementing and optimizing CLM platforms and legal technology tools for contract drafting, review, negotiation, and execution
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.); Business, Technology, or a related field preferred
Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills
Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed, global organization
Strong technical aptitude and proficiency with Microsoft Office and enterprise systems
Ability to balance legal, technical, and business considerations when designing scalable solutions
Working knowledge of corporate finance and budgeting practices
Preferred
Experience supporting legal teams in regulated, technology-driven industries
Demonstrated success driving change management and user adoption for new legal technologies
Passion for innovation and staying ahead of emerging trends in legal operations, AI, and automation
