Responsibilities
Capture high-quality in-store photo and video content featuring jewelry, displays, staff, and customer experiences
Film and edit short-form video content (Instagram Reels, TikTok, Stories) directly from store locations
Coordinate with store managers and associates to plan and capture content
Create content around product launches, promotions, holidays, and special events
Write polished, on-brand captions aligned with the Michaels Jewelers voice
Maintain consistent brand aesthetics, lighting, and styling standards
Engage with social media comments and messages as needed
Stay current with social trends and adapt them for a luxury retail environment
Assist with basic content scheduling and performance tracking
Qualification
Required
Experience in content creation or social media
Comfortable filming and photographing in-store and working with staff on camera
Strong eye for visual detail, styling, and storytelling
Proficiency with content creation tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe, etc.)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently while coordinating with store teams
Preferred
Photography or videography background
On-camera confidence or experience directing others on camera
Understanding of Instagram and TikTok analytics
