Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead – Finance & Accounting Systems Modernization
Fletcher Search is helping drive a critical enterprise transformation for one of Texas's leading regulated utilities. This high-visibility role focuses on leading Organizational Change Management for a major upgrade to Treasury Management and Financial Security workflows, ensuring smooth adoption across finance, accounting, risk, audit, and cross-functional teams in a complex, regulated environment.
Responsibilities
Develop and lead a tailored OCM strategy that aligns with project goals and addresses impacts across Finance, Accounting, Credit & Risk, Internal Audit, and other departments
Conduct thorough change impact assessments on people, processes, roles, and workflows
Identify and engage key stakeholders at all levels to secure sponsorship, alignment, and sustained support
Design and execute comprehensive, multi-channel communication plans to keep employees informed, engaged, and ready for change
Collaborate with training specialists to create, deliver, and evaluate high-impact training programs
Evaluate organizational readiness, surface potential resistance, and deploy effective mitigation tactics
Provide hands-on coaching and support during and after go-live to drive long-term adoption and continuous improvement
Establish, track, and report meaningful OCM metrics and progress updates to project and executive leadership
Work in close partnership with Project Managers, Business Analysts, technical teams, and functional leaders in a dynamic, client-facing capacity
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Development, or a closely related field
5+ years of proven Organizational Change Management experience, ideally in utilities, energy, regulated industries, or large-scale finance/operations transformations
Demonstrated success leading complete OCM lifecycles—from strategy and planning through implementation, adoption, and sustainment
Outstanding communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills (regular executive-level presentations are a core part of the role)
Strong track record in stakeholder management, influence, and conflict resolution
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint) and visual design tools such as Canva
Preferred
Relevant change management certification (Prosci, ACMP, CCMP, etc.)
Working knowledge of the Texas electric market, regulatory landscape, or finance & accounting processes in regulated environments
Prior experience supporting enterprise system implementations in treasury, credit/risk, or similar domains
