Sr Ultrasound Tech OB/GYN

The role involves producing two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for diagnosis, conducting advanced imaging, evaluating complex cases, assisting with procedures, and ensuring patient comfort during exams.

Responsibilities
Conducting detailed first/second-trimester anatomy scans, fetal echocardiograms, and Doppler studies
Evaluating complex cases, including multiple gestations (twins, triplets) and identifying fetal anomalies (CNS, cardiac, etc.)
Preparing and assisting with invasive procedures like amniocentesis, PUBS, and cervical checks
Forming initial diagnoses of fetal or gynecological disorders for MFM specialists to review
Communicating findings, maintaining records, and ensuring patient comfort during high-stakes exams
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
A minimum of an Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from an approved Two-Year College or Technical School in a medical or related field
License/Certification: RDMS registry in OB-GYN
At least two years of OB-GYN ultrasound experience
Degree from certified ultrasound program of at least one year
Preferred
Senior Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Ultrasound Tech needs an accredited sonography degree/certificate RDMS certification (preference in OB/GYN)
2-3+ years experience in high-risk pregnancies with advanced skills in fetal echocardiography
