Responsibilities

Frontend Development : Build responsive, accessible web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern frontend tools
Map Integration : Develop interactive maps using Mapbox for disaster visualization and survivor location
Full-Stack Work : Contribute to backend APIs and services when needed (Python, Go)
UI/UX Implementation : Work with design to implement user interfaces that are intuitive and compliant
Performance Optimization : Optimize frontend performance and ensure fast load times
Cross-functional Collaboration : Work with backend engineers, product managers, and compliance teams

Qualification

Required

5+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years focused on frontend
Experience building products from 0 to 1 (from scratch)
Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript
Experience with Mapbox or similar mapping libraries
Experience with Vercel, Firebase, or similar deployment platforms
Full-stack capability (can work with Python/Go backend when needed)
Experience building responsive, accessible web applications
Strong UI/UX implementation skills

Preferred

Experience with Plaid or financial data integration
Experience with government/compliance requirements (accessibility, data privacy)
Experience with Python or Go (backend work)
Experience with AWS services
Experience with design systems and component libraries
Experience with regulated industries or government contracts
