Responsibilities

Java Database Developer will serve as a technical expert for one or more applications
Collaborate with Business Analysts to ensure designs meet functional requirements
Partner with Infrastructure to deploy optimal hosting environments
Optimize application performance and resolve issues
Research and evaluate technical solutions
Integrate risk and control processes into daily responsibilities
Apply appropriate software development methodologies based on project needs
As a Java Database Developer, you will contribute to component design and participate in construction and testing
Support development teams with testing, fixes, and production support
Build applications and unit tests to meet functional and non-functional requirements
Work with peers to improve continuous integration and delivery

Required

8-10 years of related experience
6+ years in Java/J2EE development; Java 17+
Experience with XML/XSD, JSON
Strong backend expertise with Spring Boot
Familiarity with microservices and distributed systems
REST API development using Spring Boot
CI/CD tools: Git, Jenkins, JoCoCo, Maven
Database and PL/SQL (Oracle, Snowflake preferred)
Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker
Agile methodology
Code coverage and testing: JUnit5, Mockito, PowerMock
Solid understanding of design patterns, data structures, algorithms
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
