Responsibilities
Manage regional network vendors and service providers
Oversee regional risk, compliance, and audit outcomes
Develop and execute regional delivery plans aligned with global roadmaps
Ensure adherence to global network architecture and standards
Balance business-as-usual operations with project and transformation initiatives
Provide regular reporting on service performance and key initiatives
Manage resource capacity and utilization
Line manage Principal, Senior, and Network Engineers within the region
Conduct performance management, coaching, and development planning for direct reports
Act as a delegate for the Director, Global Head of Network Services as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
Cisco CCNP certification required; CCIE strongly preferred or equivalent experience
CompTIA Network+ certification
ITIL v3 Foundation certification or higher
PMP or PRINCE2 certification desirable
15+ years of internetworking experience within a global enterprise environment (3,000+ users)
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Network Manager or equivalent leadership role
Strong background supporting IT services in pressurized environments, preferably in Financial Services or Insurance
Advanced knowledge of Cisco routing and switching (IOS, ASR, ISR, NXOS)
Expertise in routing protocols including BGP and OSPF
Experience with SD-WAN technologies
Strong understanding of connectivity services including DIA, broadband, LEO, Direct Connect, and ExpressRoute
Wireless networking, load balancing, and network access control (NAC)
Deep knowledge of network security including firewalls, web filtering, and Zero Trust models
Excellent communication and influencing skills in a federated, global environment
Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across teams
