Responsibilities

Lead the planning and implementation of projects and monitors the operational effectiveness throughout

Serves as subject matter expert for survey related activities such as construction staking, topographic surveying, platting, legal description writing, boundary analysis, and legal principles

Works with the Project Manager to define project tasks, schedule and resource requirements

Works with Project Manager to evaluate project budget and analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, billing rates and utilization

Complies with and helps the enforcement of company standards, policies and procedures

Measured on engagement in the continual improvement process and formal knowledge transfer/lessons learned, engagement in the quality service/client feedback process including asking for feedback and following up on the feedback including documentation in the system, and the overall success of the project

Conduct team meetings with project team and evaluate and coordinate the project

Stays current on service-specific trends, technology, software, hardware and equipment

Provide day-to-day guidance and mentoring to project team staff as needed

Responsible for quality control and quality assurance related to the survey activities on each project

Ensures division, regional, and company policies and practices are consistently followed within the survey service
