Responsibilities
Supports the accounting team by collecting, reconciling, and seeking approval and processes through PCL business systems general vendor payments as requested, in a timely and accurate manner to meet payment terms and conditions
Assembles client billings package in accordance with approval procedures and processes through PCL business systems to ensure client is in receipt of billings on a timely basis and payments are received as per contract terms and conditions
Prepares bank deposits and subsequent cash receipt entries where required
Effectively communicates with internal and external stakeholders, as required
Develops and maintains strong customer focused relationships with all stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Some co-op experience or 6 months to 1 year of accounting and/or administration experience an asset
High school diploma
Postsecondary degree or diploma in a related discipline an asset
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Basic understanding of lien rights
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and high level of detail orientation required to maintain and submit all necessary documentation and meet deadlines and requirements
Basic skills using Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge and/or experience with accounting software an asset
