Responsibilities

Assist in the design of handbags by creating sketches and technical drawings aligned with seasonal brand direction
Manage ongoing communication with overseas teams to ensure design deliverables meet all SMS deadlines
Collaborate with Production to ensure all specs are received with speed and accuracy to meet deadlines
Assist and maintain daily tracker for development
Maintain swatches and materials
Assist and facilitate market sample specs seasonally
Assist with material development, ordering and tracking with suppliers
Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with support and resources as needed
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years of handbag experience
Proficient in rendering handbags and hardware using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design software
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong sketching and visual skills
Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively and take direction with ease
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Ability to travel domestically or overseas, if necessary
