Responsibilities

Lead planning and execution of large industry trade shows from kickoff through post-event wrap-up
Translate business development and product management requirements into booth strategy, messaging, and on-site experience
Develop and manage event timelines, deliverables, and run recurring planning meetings
Manage booth designers and booth builders, including scope, timelines, and approvals
Oversee booth layout, graphics, messaging, and experiential elements
Ensure compliance with show regulations and brand standards
Serve as primary contact for convention services and show management
Manage labor orders, including install, dismantle, and on-site labor coordination
Own shipping logistics (advance warehouse, direct-to-show, return shipping)
Oversee booth build, on-site setup, teardown, and asset recovery
Manage the full event budget
Track spend, provide updates to leadership, and manage vendors against approved budgets
Procure and manage lead-generation technology
Create booth duty schedules and coordinate staffing
Manage booth meeting scheduling for sales and leadership
Act as on-site lead during the event, resolving issues and coordinating vendors and staff
Present event plans, budgets, and results to senior leadership
Provide post-event reporting, insights, and recommendations

Required

Proven experience managing large-scale trade shows and conventions
Hands-on experience with booth designers, booth builders, convention services, and union labor
Strong understanding of event logistics, shipping, and on-site operations
Experience owning event budgets and managing multiple vendors
Ability to align event execution with business development and product goals
Comfortable presenting to executive leadership
Highly organized, self-directed, and able to operate independently
