Responsibilities
Serving as the primary point of contact for prospective residents and their families
Coordinating the admission process and ensuring a seamless transition into the facility
Evaluating potential residents' eligibility
Communicating with medical and insurance professionals
Providing exceptional customer service
Maintaining accurate records
Assisting with training related to admissions processes
Adhering to all regulatory guidelines
Qualification
Required
Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to professionally engage with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Knowledge of Medicare processes and Medical Terminology to ensure accurate eligibility evaluations and compliance
Experience in providing Training related to admissions processes and relevant procedures
Attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking skills to efficiently manage admissions and maintain detailed records
Proficiency in using computers and healthcare-related software systems
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while demonstrating independence and initiative in tasks
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Preferred
Previous experience in a healthcare admissions or related field is highly preferred
Additional education or certification in healthcare administration or a related field is a plus
