Responsibilities

Hunt for new business opportunities within the BFSI sector by identifying and engaging with potential clients, focusing on digital transformation services
Drive new logo acquisition, working toward aggressive sales targets, and expanding the company's footprint in the insurance vertical
Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to create and nurture a strong sales pipeline, using data-driven approaches
Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives, business leaders, and decision-makers within target insurance companies
Collaborate with internal teams such as product development, marketing, and delivery to tailor digital transformation solutions that meet client needs
Lead client presentations, solution demonstrations, and negotiations to secure new business
Monitor market trends and competitive landscape in the BFSI sector to identify emerging opportunities for growth
Stay updated on digital technologies, such as AI, automation, cloud, and big data, that impact the insurance industry and use this knowledge to drive sales efforts
Provide regular updates to senior management on sales progress, forecasts, and market feedback

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
7-12 years of experience in business development, with a focus on new business (hunting) and selling digital transformation services in the BFSI sector
Proven track record of successfully acquiring new clients and meeting or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of the BFSI industry and the challenges it faces in terms of digital transformation
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers
Ability to manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and delivering high-value deals
Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
