Responsibilities
Oversee and execute key accounting activities across GL, AP, AR, payroll, inventory, fixed assets, and revenue recognition
Manage daily cash flow management, borrowing, and treasury-related activities
Prepare and analyze timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP
Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and manage the annual audit process
Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Partner closely with FP&A, Treasury, Legal, and other teams to support business initiatives
Support ERP implementations, upgrades, and system enhancements impacting accounting workflows
Perform technical accounting research and prepare white papers and documentation as needed
Monitor new accounting standards and assess their impact on financial reporting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA required
10+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal control frameworks (SOX, COSO)
Experience working within ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills
Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred
Public accounting experience strongly preferred
Industry experience in pharmaceuticals or life sciences is a plus
