Responsibilities

Customer Consultation: Engage with clients via phone, email, or in-person meetings to understand their travel preferences, interests, and budget constraints
Tailored Itinerary Planning: Utilize your knowledge of African destinations, attractions, and activities to create customized tour itineraries that align with clients' interests and requirements
Booking Coordination: Handle all aspects of booking arrangements, including flights, accommodations, transportation, activities, and travel insurance, ensuring accuracy and timely confirmation
Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the booking process, providing updates, answering inquiries, and addressing any concerns or special requests
Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest travel trends, destination developments, and industry news to offer informed recommendations and enhance the overall customer experience
Documentation and Administration: Prepare all necessary travel documents, including itineraries, invoices, vouchers, and contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to optimize tour offerings, streamline processes, and enhance service delivery
Customer Feedback: Solicit feedback from clients post-travel to assess satisfaction levels, identify areas for improvement, and gather testimonials for marketing purposes
Crisis Management: Demonstrate flexibility and resourcefulness in handling unforeseen travel disruptions, emergencies, or other issues that may arise during clients' trips
Promotion of Sustainable Tourism: Educate clients on the importance of responsible travel practices, such as minimizing environmental impact, supporting local communities, and respecting wildlife

Required

Bachelor's degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred
Previous experience in a similar role within the travel industry, with a strong understanding of tour operations and destination management
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds
Proficiency in travel booking systems and software, such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre
Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
Passion for travel and a deep appreciation for African culture, wildlife, and landscapes
Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages, particularly local African languages, is advantageous
Commitment to upholding ethical standards, promoting sustainable tourism practices, and delivering exceptional customer service
Must speak English and Another Language more the better for the opportunity
Have 3rd Party Experience in Industry supply to the Travel Industry
Live in close proximity to Cresta or be willing to relocate
Have some managerial experience, the more the better
Computer Literate with application experience in the Travel Industry
Understand It's prohibited to smoke during office hours for obvious reasons
Be of sober habits not to smell of alcohol during office hours
Strong References from previous similar roles
