Manager of Online Learning
Early Learning Indiana is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering children with essential skills for success in early education. The Manager of Online Learning will oversee the operations of the Learning Management System, ensuring high-quality learning opportunities and supporting course development.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations within TOPYX, including course setup, reporting and troubleshooting
Identify opportunities to improve the LMS’s organization, functionality and usability
Collaborate with IT and LMS vendors to resolve technical issues and implement system enhancements
Develop standards and best practices for course design, naming conventions and content arrangement
Revise and improve existing training materials, including content created by other contributors
Convert live training content into engaging online learning experiences
Ensure content is visually appealing, accessible, and easy to understand for diverse learner audiences
Conduct regular audits of the catalog to ensure accuracy and compliance with current practices
Analyze learner data, provider feedback and industry trends to recommend future training needs
All other duties as assigned to advance the mission of Early Learning Indiana and the Child Care Support Services contract
Qualification
Required
Experience working with Learning Management Systems
Strong skills in editing and creating digital training content
Knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design concepts, and online learning best practices
Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
Comfortable working with multiple projects, tight deadlines, and cross-functional partners
Preferred
Proficiency in content creation tools (Articulate Storyline/Rise, Canva, video editing tools, etc.) is preferred
Experience working in early childhood education or childcare systems is a plus but not required
