Quality Coordinator - Quality Resource Services - Full Time Day
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Quality Coordinator to work in the Quality Resource Services Department at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus. The role involves facilitating peer review, promoting patient safety, and ensuring regulatory compliance while utilizing continuous quality improvement principles.

Responsibilities
The Coordinator will be responsible for working closely with assigned areas to facilitate peer review, promote patient safety and support regulatory compliance
Utilizes principles of continuous quality improvement in all work situations to assess measure and improve organizational and department functions
The Coordinator will report program metrics to stakeholders on a regular basis
The Coordinator will perform chart and in person audits to ensure compliance with mandatory requirements
The Coordinator will work with specific assigned areas to understand and promote performance improvement within those areas
Participation in organizational meetings
Preparation and participation in regulatory surveys
Responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments examples damaged floors, walls, ceiling tiles, unsecured areas and medical errors, etc
The Quality Coordinator provides clinical and quality metric analysis, to ensure MMCSC patients receive safe, high quality of care and a best in class patient experience
Utilizing Performance Analytics tools and other available systems like Press Ganey, CMS Stars, US News and World Report, Leapfrog, Vizient, Nuance, EPIC, qNet, etc
The coordinator will assist with data requirement gathering, prepare reports to measure and trend key performance metrics and present results in an analytical manner
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in a health related field required
Three to five years healthcare experience required
Must possess strong interpersonal, communication, management, and technology skills
Must demonstrate team building and collaborative practice behaviors
Must demonstrate understanding of performance improvement and quality outcomes management
BLS AHA certification
Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
