Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership and expertise within a technical infrastructure discipline to establish and maintain the architecture and strategic plan to support key applications and business processes
Perform architectural assessments for new technology proposals and existing legacy systems. Define system requirements and lead evaluation of alternative technical solutions
Oversee architectural and configuration design for technical infrastructure to ensure performance, reliability and sustainability while complying with security standards and IT governance guidelines
Implement AWS security controls and monitoring (CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub), enforce Service/Resource Control Policies (SCPs/RCPs), and drive guardrails across accounts
Build and manage AWS Control Tower, Landing Zones, and AWS Organizations; automate account provisioning and guardrails with CloudFormation
Design least-privilege IAM (roles, permissions), integrate SSO / IAM Identity Center, and use IAM Access Analyzer to reduce risk
Configure and operate S3/Glacier, API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, Amazon Connect, VPC, KMS, and other AWS services to deliver secure, reliable workloads
Use Infrastructure-as-Code (CloudFormation) and scripting to automate deployments, controls, and configuration drift detection
Collaborate with technical areas and business units to develop technical infrastructure solutions architecture for specific technologies in alignment with business requirements and the approved IT enterprise architecture
Perform architectural assessments related to key components of technical infrastructure to evaluate performance and capacity and to ensure compliance with security and configuration management policies, standards and procedures
Architect, design, install, implement, maintain and troubleshoot infrastructure systems with a focus on continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
Assess new technology proposals and review contracts with IT vendors making recommendations to management in lowering cost and increasing efficiency and effectiveness of technologies
Create and maintain a technology roadmap for the area of responsibility while producing architectural artifacts supporting each project to ensure consistency, efficiency, and alignment with the Enterprise Architecture

We're looking for a Cloud Engineer with strong AWS experience to design, secure, and operate our multi‑account cloud environment
Implement security best practices, automate infrastructure, and build resilient, scalable services across core AWS platforms
Implement AWS security controls and monitoring (CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub), enforce Service/Resource Control Policies (SCPs/RCPs), and drive guardrails across accounts
Build and manage AWS Control Tower, Landing Zones, and AWS Organizations; automate account provisioning and guardrails with CloudFormation

Solid understanding of VPC networking, encryption/KMS, logging/monitoring, and least‑privilege design
Strong collaboration and documentation skills; ability to turn requirements into secure, automated solutions
