Responsibilities
Review payments for the 9/11 Victims Compensation Program and the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act, both of which have high public visibility. The candidate must pay close attention to pertinent information related to these payments
Demonstrate the ability to review financial accounts, ensuring proper documentation is attached to records and expenses are recorded accurately
Provide clear and concise feedback to junior staff regarding transactions submitted in the financial system
Produce routine and ad hoc reports for management review
Perform data analysis of current and historical information
Deliver excellent customer service to Finance & Accounting's clients
Review and approve travel authorizations
Coordinate invitational travel on behalf of the Government
Process expenditures and various financial activities
Send delinquency reports to employees concerning travel-related matters
Collaborate and participate in enhancing financial internal controls within CIV
Qualification
Required
Possess experience using UFMS, processing payments, establishing commitments, and performing other advanced functions
Proficient in reviewing financial accounts, with a strong focus on ensuring proper documentation and precise recording of expenses
Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOJ waiver
