The 2nd Shift VanAxial Fan Test Technician is responsible for performing mechanical, electrical, and performance testing on VanAxial fan products to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.

Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and maintain VanAxial fan testing equipment on 2nd shift
Conduct airflow, pressure, vibration, noise, and electrical tests following established procedures
Accurately document test results for quality and engineering review
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues discovered during testing
Maintain calibration and functionality of test equipment and instrumentation
Keep the testing area clean, organized, and safety-compliant
Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to test processes and equipment reliability
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED; technical/vocational training preferred
Mechanical or electrical aptitude with hands-on experience using tools and equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Basic computer skills for test logging and reporting
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a manufacturing/testing environment
Willingness to work 2nd shift on a consistent basis
Preferred
Experience with rotating machinery, industrial fans, HVAC equipment, or similar systems
Previous manufacturing, testing, or quality control experience
Familiarity with instrumentation such as gauges, meters, sensors, and vibration tools
