Responsibilities
Accurately apply customer payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers) to corresponding accounts and invoices in ERP system
Research and resolve payment discrepancies, short pays, and unapplied cash in collaboration with AR and customer service teams
Monitor daily bank activity and ensure timely posting of cash receipts to maintain accurate financial records
Prepare and reconcile cash application reports to support month-end close and audit requirements
Communicate with internal departments and external customers to resolve payment issues and maintain positive relationships
Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy in cash application workflows
Qualification
Required
5 years or more of cash application experience
Excel Pivot Table / V-Lookup
Preferred
NetSuite / Oracle, highly preferred
