Start in 2026 WinterAlfrex, Inc. is launching an Operational Process Innovation Initiative aimed at enhancing operational capacity and reducing repetitive administrative work. They are seeking two on-site interns to assist in mapping processes, measuring performance, and developing AI-automation solutions in collaboration with various teams at their Buford, GA headquarters.

Responsibilities
Process Mapping and Diagramming: Shadow teams and document current workflows, create clear process maps and diagram, distinguish value-added vs non-value-added steps and flag bottlenecks
Baseline KPIs and Measurement: Define and capture baseline metrics (cycle time, handling time, error rates, manual touchpoints, etc.), help build simple dashboards or reports that show before/after impact of improvements, track time saved, automation ratios, error reduction, and other improvements
Agentic AI Integration: Identify high-friction workflows that could benefit from AI (retrieval-augmented generation, routing, repetitive data entry, etc.), prototype AI-powered assistants (simple agents such as internal chatbots, knowledge assistants, AI-enabled workflows, etc.), test and iterate prompts, flows and guardrails with all stakeholders, lay foundation to build fully-automized AI agents
No/Low-Code Automation: Eliminate manual data entry and repetitive admin work, connect systems (CRM, email, spreadsheets, forms, chats, etc.), build internal, micro-tools for specific tasks/projects
Data Cleaning, Normalization and Insights: Consolidate data from multiple sources (spreadsheets, systems, communication channels, ERP), perform data cleaning, normalization, and basic validation to ensure we're working with reliable numbers, help define simple data standards (naming conventions, formats, decision logic, etc.), analyze existing work processes and operational data to identify patterns, bottlenecks and opportunities
Qualification
Required
Current Junior/Seniors and recent graduates looking to kickstart their careers in building operational solutions in an enterprise settings
Recent graduates looking to kickstart career in real-life application of AI and Automation in enterprise settings
Career switchers with relevant skills and strong motivation to work in operations, data, AI and automation-related projects
Bi-lingual: English (Native/Fluent) and Korean (Fluent/Proficient)
On-site Availability for the duration of the internship period (12-weeks); work days and hours are flexible
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel & Word)
Proficiency in GenAI/LLM (OpenAI's ChatGPT, Anthropic's Claude, Google's Gemini, etc.)
Strong comfort with digital tools and online platforms (you pick them up quickly, explore features on your own and aren't afraid to test and learn)
Ability to create clear, structured documents and diagrams
Ability to build solutions of real-world problems with creative problem-solving skills
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Any portfolio, Github, Notion, or Project Links that show how you designed or improved a process or workflow, built an automation that improved efficiency, and/or showcases innovative way you use AI in your day-to-day life
