They are seeking a Business Process Excellence Director to lead process optimization and operational excellence initiatives across AI and technology programs, ensuring alignment with measurable ROI and driving continuous improvement across teams.

Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end process optimization initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, cycle time, and cost
Analyze current-state processes, identify bottlenecks, waste, and variation, and design optimized future-state workflows
Standardize and document processes, SOPs, and governance models across delivery and operations
Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools (DMAIC, Value Stream Mapping, 5 Whys, Pareto, root cause analysis) to drive measurable improvements
Build ROI and cost-benefit models to evaluate automation and improvement initiatives
Improve estimation accuracy through structured work breakdowns, capacity modeling, and effort analysis
Lead requirements discovery sessions to clarify ambiguous inputs and prevent rework
Drive adoption of optimized processes and manage organizational change
Define, track, and report KPIs related to process performance, efficiency, quality, and ROI
Collaborate with AI and automation teams to identify and prioritize high-value optimization opportunities
Advise on where AI and automation add value—without over-reliance on tools—ensuring human oversight in stakeholder interactions
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in process optimization, operational excellence, or continuous improvement
Lean Six Sigma certification (Black Belt preferred; Green Belt with strong hands-on delivery considered)
Proven experience improving business or technology processes with measurable outcomes
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
Experience conducting process mapping, value stream analysis, and root cause analysis
Ability to work across cross-functional teams (engineering, PMO, operations, leadership)
Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Executive Dashboarding & KPI Governance: Ability to design leadership dashboards that reflect truth, not vanity metrics
Experience in AI project environments, with a focus on tying executions to business value
