Account Executive

Skysense is an agricultural technology company focused on wildlife mitigation for high-value crops using autonomous drone systems and AI-driven monitoring. They are seeking two Account Executives to manage the full sales cycle and customer lifecycle within their assigned geographic regions, focusing on generating new business and ensuring customer success.

Responsibilities

Prospect and generate new leads through cold calling, outbound outreach, referrals, and events
Manage the full sales cycle: discovery, solution design, pricing, negotiation, and close
Identify expansion and upsell opportunities within existing accounts
Meet or exceed regional revenue and growth targets
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts
Ensure successful onboarding, deployment, and ongoing customer satisfaction
Build long-term relationships with growers, farm managers, and ag professionals
Proactively address customer needs, challenges, renewals, and retention
Represent Skysense at trade shows, field days, grower meetings, and industry events
Travel approximately 30% of the time within the assigned region
Gather market feedback to inform product development and service improvements
Work closely with operations, engineering, and leadership teams
Help refine regional sales strategies, messaging, and pricing
Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline reporting, and forecasts

Required

Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Comfort with cold calling and outbound sales
Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities independently

Experience with high-value crops (e.g., berries, cherries, leafy greens)
Familiarity with precision agriculture, drones, or ag technology
B2B sales or account management experience
