The Electrical Foreman will lead field crews on commercial and industrial projects throughout the Phoenix metro area, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity on job sites while serving as a link between field operations and project leadership.
Responsibilities
Lead, supervise, and coordinate electricians on active job sites
Plan and direct daily work activities, manpower, and material needs
Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA standards, and ICON safety policies
Review drawings and specifications; plan upcoming work and milestones
Coordinate with General Contractors, inspectors, and other trades
Participate in jobsite coordination meetings as ICON’s field representative
Develop short-term plans (weekly and 3-week look-ahead schedules) to maintain progress
Order materials and manage tools, equipment, and crew productivity
Track job progress and communicate updates, risks, or delays to the Project Manager and Superintendent
Perform daily quality checks and address issues proactively
Complete required documentation, including daily logs, timekeeping, and safety paperwork
Mentor apprentices and journeymen; help develop the next generation of field leaders
Qualification
Required
5+ years of commercial or industrial electrical construction experience
Minimum 1 year of foreman or lead electrician experience managing crews of 5+
OSHA 10 required (OSHA 30 preferred)
Strong working knowledge of NEC, electrical systems, and jobsite best practices
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, one-lines, and specifications
Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Organized, proactive, and able to plan ahead in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and team development
Preferred
OSHA 30 preferred
