The Boeing Company is looking for an Experienced Systems Engineering Technician to join the Aircraft Modernization and Modification programs. The candidate will work in the B-52 Sustainment and Radar Modification Program and will be responsible for supporting systems engineers, analyzing data, and providing technical support for system engineering activities.

Responsibilities

Supports systems/specialty engineers in defining requirements, developing trade studies, performing analyses, and controlling associated data and information

Gathers, tracks and analyzes reliability, maintainability and health monitoring data

Selects appropriate data to conduct failure analysis and corrective action planning

Evaluates and recommends methods, processes, procedures and tools for assessing maintainability characteristics of design

Coordinates the development of certification and aviation regulatory proposals and plans and verifies compliance to requirements

Develops and implements certification processes, tools and procedures

Provides technical support to all system engineering activities

Coaches and mentors others

Works under minimal direction

Required

Information Security experience

2 or more years of experience with Systems Engineering principles

Experience working with internal, external and/or Government customers directly

Experience in maintaining cybersecurity controls for assigned systems to meet enterprise requirements, policies, standards, guidelines and procedures

This position requires an active Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
