Responsibilities
Conduct routine maintenance checks and repairs on building systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC
Perform appliance repairs and ensure all equipment is functioning efficiently
Manage locks and keys, including re-keying and lock replacement as necessary
Assist with basic carpentry tasks and other general repairs around the facility
Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the premises through janitorial duties and painting and drywall repair
Oversee facilities maintenance tasks to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards
Participate in grounds maintenance, including snow removal and landscaping as needed
Utilize Tough Tech and Building Engines Software for maintenance management and reporting
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance-related fields preferred
Proven experience in maintenance roles with skills in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair
Basic knowledge of carpentry, janitorial services, and drywall repair
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with facilities maintenance best practices and safety protocols
Candidates who are licensed electricians or have a great electrical background move to the top of the list
Must live in or very close to Boston as there will be some times where you will need to be 'on call'
