Responsibilities
Analyze and track engineering specifications for cable routes, landing point selections, shore-end solutions, and marine installation methods
Support the permit acquisition process by collaborating with vendors and internal legal/policy teams, tracking applications and flagging potential schedule risks
Manage vendor performance against the contract, ensuring deliverables meet quality, budget, and schedule requirements
Support commercial discussions and manage the administrative processes for contract variations and system handovers
Contribute technical and process knowledge to the broader team to improve project delivery efficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
2 years of experience in program management
Experience in fiber-optic network design, deployment, or construction (e.g., marine route engineering, shore-end solutions, outside plant installation, etc.)
Preferred
Master's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering, Telecommunications, Marine Science, or a related field
2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
Experience in the telecommunications or subsea cable industry
Experience with submarine cable deployment lifecycle, including marine route engineering, permitting, or civil engineering
