Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics

Develop and optimize ETL processes, including SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading

Utilize PySpark within Synapse notebooks for advanced data processing

Manage and optimize cloud data infrastructure on Azure, focusing on performance and cost-efficiency

Ensure robust data governance, quality, and security across all data systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored data solutions

Create and maintain data models and data mappings for analytics and reporting

Monitor data pipelines and infrastructure using Azure Monitor Service

Develop Power BI visualizations to enable data-driven business decisions

Leverage Python for data engineering tasks and scripting

Optionally, contribute deployment expertise using GitHub Enterprise

Strong communication skills required to effectively coordinate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
