Responsibilities
Develop and maintain comprehensive sanctions compliance policies and procedures in line with international standards
Lead periodic and ad-hoc risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend program enhancements
Enhance sanctions controls, including screening and transaction monitoring systems, by translating regulatory requirements into actionable product requirements
Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and advice on sanctions to internal stakeholders
Serve as the primary liaison during audits and regulatory examinations, managing reports and remediation efforts
Create and deliver targeted training programs and mentor junior analysts
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience (5+ years) in sanctions or financial crime compliance within financial institutions or regulatory bodies
In-depth knowledge of global sanctions regimes and experience with screening tools and technology solutions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and communicate regulatory obligations effectively
Preferred
Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS)
Certified Global Sanctions Specialist (CGSS)
