Responsibilities

Plans preparation of public works underground utilities projects, rehabilitation and stormwater improvement projects, and new site development projects

Work closely with the engineer utilizing Autodesk Civil 3D to create construction documents for all aspects of civil engineering with a focus on water, sewer, and drainage systems, as well as roadway, paving and grading designs

Conform to appropriate CAD standards and best practices

Evaluate and implement CAD specifications defined by clients

Perform quantity take-offs

Qualification

AutoCADCivil 3DGISOrganizational skillsCommunication skills

Required

5+ years of CAD experience on civil engineering projects with a civil engineering consulting firm

Recent Civil 3D experience

Experience with other design applications, such as GIS

Outstanding organizational skills

Strong sense of urgency, project responsibility and initiative

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
