Responsibilities

Mentor and manage trainees and junior developers on the project
Design, develop, and support enterprise-level J2EE web applications
Work hands-on as a Java backend developer integrating multiple backend systems
Collaborate with clients, architects, and frontend teams to define and implement backend integrations
Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployments
Work effectively in onshore/offshore delivery models
Participate in Agile and Waterfall project environments

Required

10+ years of hands-on experience in Java Web / Enterprise application development
Strong experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Cloud technologies
Hands-on experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
Experience migrating SOAP web services to REST APIs
Solid understanding of design patterns and enterprise architecture
Experience with Java EE, Maven, and open-source Java frameworks
Experience with application servers such as Tomcat, Jetty, JBoss, WebLogic
Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP web services
Experience with databases like Oracle, MySQL, DB2, SQL, JDBC, and ORM tools
Experience with Spring Security and SSO solutions
Proven experience with CI/CD, deployment, scalability, and performance optimization
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Hands-on experience working in Agile and Waterfall development models
