Responsibilities
Assist in the creation of technical packages (tech packs) to communicate design specifications to factories
Develop and update CADs and technical design details for production and retailer appointments
Support the Design Director with color CAD development for specs and presentations
Collaborate with the team on trend and color forecasting to influence future collections
Organize and track sample development, ensuring accuracy and timely execution
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product developers, and factories, to troubleshoot and refine designs
Utilize PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems to maintain and update product details
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Accessories Design, or a related field
1-2 years of experience in technical design, preferably in handbags or accessories
Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel
Familiarity with technical design processes, construction techniques, and material specifications
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a team
Passion for the handbag and accessories industry with an eye for design and innovation
Preferred
Experience with PLM software is a plus
