Responsibilities
Full life-cycle project design from kick-off to construction document production and construction oversight
Join and lead project teams in our Building Design and Non-building structures studios
Responsible for producing engineering documents such as reports, calculations, and drawings that are complete and technically accurate
Responsible for assisting clients regarding technical design issues, coordination of document preparation, and submittals
Utilize design software such as RISA, Enercalc, RAM, Bluebeam, and REVIT to produce construction drawings
Qualification
Required
ABET accredited bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil or Structural Engineering
Registered EIT
2 to 5 years of experience in consulting structural engineering with commercial building focus
Experience in projects of similar breadth and depth of structural engineering services offered by Salas O'Brien
The desire to work towards the Company's goal of excellent and timely service
Experience in the design of concrete, masonry, steel, timber and foundations is required
Strong time management skills and self-starter a must
Ability to learn from, and work with other team members
