IT Migration & Support Technician
RIT Solutions, Inc. is seeking an IT Migration & Support Technician to support a high-volume Windows 11 upgrade and migration initiative. The role involves building and delivering machines, providing technical support, and troubleshooting issues in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Build, configure, and deliver devices to upgrade them to Windows 11
Support the organization through blue migrations and OS upgrades
Provide day-to-day technical support to employees, including user assistance, system guidance, and issue resolution
Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, phones, printers, peripheral devices, and software
Troubleshoot with minimal supervision—resolve unexpected issues and ensure delivered machines function as expected
Follow documented processes while also adjusting quickly to new challenges
Maintain accurate IT documentation; update and close tickets as required
Assist with various IT projects as assigned
Take thorough notes and absorb instructions
Collaborate with the existing support team, who will be handling machines that do not meet Windows 11 criteria
Qualification
Required
5+ year of experience supporting PCs in a Microsoft environment
Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and organizational abilities
Prior experience in a fast-paced technical support role
Able to work 100% onsite

Preferred
Experience supporting PCs in a Microsoft/Client environment
Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, imaging, and OS migration processes
Experience with Office 365 / O365 Admin / Teams Admin
Knowledge of help desk/ticketing systems
Excellent communication and time-management abilities
Strong troubleshooting and multitasking skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative IT environment
