InternDelta Dental of Missouri is seeking an Actuarial Intern to gain valuable experience in actuarial, underwriting, and business analytics projects. The intern will participate in a program focused on various tasks including claim reserving, pricing, and data analytics.

Responsibilities
The intern may be assigned a wide variety of tasks. This will be dependent on department workload and priorities as well as the individual’s strengths, skillset, and background. Tasks may vary from routine work to complex, multi-step projects
Qualification
Required
Pursuing or completed a bachelor's degree from an accredited college required
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
Ability to perform detailed calculations and independently solve complex problems
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Motivated with a strong interest in learning new skills and tasks
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
Proven subscription to the company's core values of integrity, trust and respect, innovation, stewardship, excellence, and celebration
Preferred
math, actuarial, quantitative, or business degree preferred
A passing score on 1 or more SOA exams preferred but not required
