Originate secondary market mortgage loans
Originate portfolio mortgage loans
Originate home equity loans and lines of credit
Guide members through the mortgage process from first hello to final signature
Recommend credit union products and services that meet members’ needs
Think creatively to find the best solutions for each unique member
Bring positive energy to the mortgage team
Qualification
Required
Expertise in originating secondary market mortgage loans, portfolio mortgage loans, and home equity loans and lines of credit
Strong knowledge of Fannie Mae, Rural Housing, and Maine State Housing guidelines
Strong grasp of the mortgage lending process from start to finish
Confidence in recommending credit union products and services that meet members' needs
Excellent communication skills and a love for talking to people
Problem-solving skills and a positive energy
