Responsibilities
Provide leadership, guidance, and hands-on expertise across all IT infrastructure initiatives
Architect, design, and deliver highly available, cost‑effective infrastructure solutions that support business needs
Gather and interpret requirements from end users, department leaders, and IT teams
Lead solution design efforts, run proof‑of‑concept testing, and document results
Drive and support activities that promote infrastructure discovery, innovation, and improvement
Champion risk management best practices, including disaster avoidance, change management, and problem management
Develop cloud migration strategies to ensure smooth and disruption-free transitions from on‑premises to cloud environments
Optimize cloud resource usage, including auto‑scaling strategies and cost‑saving recommendations
Partner with security teams to apply cloud security best practices—covering networking, firewalls, encryption, and policy enforcement
Work with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and maintain cloud infrastructure that supports agile delivery
Use Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) to automate cloud provisioning and deployment
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within distributed cloud environments
Perform other duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
8+ years of experience working with VMware, SAN, Cisco, Kubernetes, Azure, and AWS
Strong independent judgment, strategic thinking, and the ability to operate with minimal supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
prior experience working in the Banking or Financial services industry
