Analytical equipment troubleshooting/design and build

Required

Formal training in Instrumentation/Electrical with the ability to operate, test, repair, maintain and calibrate electro-mechanical equipment

Strong knowledge in calibrating instruments of flow, pressure and level transmitters, thermocouples, heaters, temperature controllers

Troubleshooting 480v and below

Repair 480v and below

Workable knowledge of test meters

Install conduit

Install wiring based on code requirements

Analytical equipment troubleshooting/design and build

Two-year degree in a scientific field of study

Ability to be able to read and work from blueprints, schematic diagrams and specification manuals

Must be physically able to perform basic maintenance

Must be able to work with various researchers in different locations

Must have data base experience with record keeping and documentation accuracy

Must Have Current Electrical Experience

Must be a team player committed to working in a quality environment

Must have an understanding of regulatory and compliance regulations

Preferred

Five years of experience in instrumentation, including experience in installing, calibrating, maintaining and repairing equipment

Demonstrated use and understanding of physical standards of mass, temperature flow and pressure

Working knowledge of computers

3-5 years of troubleshooting experience working with 24V to 480v

Electrical experience with Contacts, Mods, ABB Drives and relays

Panel building experience
