Customer Service Specialist I - Enrollment/Call Queue Support

The Customer Service Specialist I will respond to inquiries regarding provider enrollment and assist in managing call queues, ensuring accurate documentation and customer service.

Responsibilities
Respond to inbound calls to the provider relations line. Calls can include a range of inquiries including application status for provider enrollment, compliance reviews, and site visit scheduling
Check voicemail, log messages, and return calls
Commitment to customer service
Create accurate call logs in the system, summarizing contact details with providers and applicants
Review and update the status of supporting documents for provider applications
Distribute electronic fax documents to the appropriate staff
Review and verify provider enrollment applications are complete
Schedule appointments for reviews, assessments, etc
Assist with other tasks as needed, including document uploads
Qualification
Required
Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment
Must be computer literate and have MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet skills
Ability to exercise independent judgment, based on policy and procedure
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to meet deadlines and adhere to established standards
High School degree or GED
2 years of customer service experience
Bachelor's degree and 2 years paid experience or 36 months and a minimum of two years paid experience working with critical care providers, public health providers, or providers that care for children, older adults, persons with traumatic brain injury, or persons with developmental disabilities
One year of the experience must have included provider monitoring, Medicaid or third-party payer provider billing, or provider training
One year of the experience must have been in a home health program, community health program, hospital, private practice, publicly funded institution, long-term care program, mental health program, community-based social service program, or any other program addressing the needs of special populations
Working from home/remote work, requires internet connection
