Responsibilities
You will perform venipunctures professionally and with skill at various sites and explain to patient the procedure
You will ensure draws are collected in a timely manner and check all workload pending lists periodically for specimen accountability
You will accurately label patient samples following hospital policy
Qualification
Required
Current Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist Certification or Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist eligible (MA-P) OR current Medical Assistant–Certified (MA-C)
Preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred
