Attorney/Staff Judge Advocate
The United States Marine Corps is seeking a Judge Advocate to serve as a practicing attorney within their ranks. This role involves handling various legal fields such as criminal law, civil law, and operational law while supporting Marines and their families.
Responsibilities
SERVE AS JUDGE ADVOCATE IN THE UNITED STATES MARINE CORPS
Upon completion, Marine Judge Advocates immediately take responsibility of caseloads in various fields, including criminal law, civil law, international law, operational law, and work as a trial attorney under the scope of federal law
Qualification
Required
Education on the Uniform Code of Military Justice at Naval Justice School in Newport, Rhode Island
Completion of the Marine Corps Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Quantico, Virginia
Ability to take responsibility of caseloads in various fields, including criminal law, civil law, international law, operational law
Work as a trial attorney under the scope of federal law
