Responsibilities
Designs components or portions of systems and modifies existing designs to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations
Utilizes computer-aided design equipment and/or graphic tools such as, CAD, CAM or CATIA
Gathers information, makes studies, computes calculations, and prepares original rough layouts, sketches to present design proposal
Coordinates design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning group such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials, and contractual specifications
Qualification
Required
High school diploma + 7 yrs experience in related field, or associates degree and 3 years experience in related field
Preferred
Highly proficient in electrical and cableway design modeling and drawing extraction
Experience in developing and reviewing electrical products to ensure compliance with design standards and integration requirements
Strong understanding of electrical system layout principles, including equipment placement, routing strategies, and space optimization
Exceptional problem-solving skills
Thrives in collaborative team environments
Communicates technical information clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats
