Engineering Manager-Engineering Director

The Engineering Manager/Engineering Director is responsible for sustaining product quality and performance, leading an engineering team, and implementing manufacturing engineering principles to enhance processes.

Responsibilities
Lead, Mentor and Manage Engineering team
Work with cross functional groups and international teams of engineers to identify projects that support the business plan, develop project plans and ensure completion on time. Direct and coordinate the implementation of approved plans
Research, design and write controls software for carwash equipment
Develop and modify existing programs by analyzing and identifying areas for modification
Create technical specifications and write operations documentation
Provide technical support by responding to questions, making suggestions and analyzing equipment
Work cohesively with production, operations, quality assurance, testing, or maintenance in industrial plants
Review, approve, or modify product design
Work in collaboration with service and manufacturing personnel to communicate the Company’s technology capabilities and provide ongoing technical support
Responsible for auditing, revising, and establishing all engineering related work instructions, procedures, and processes
Develop and implement a cross-training program within the department
Other duties assigned by management
Qualification
Required
Engineering expertise in product design
Working knowledge of manufacturing engineering principles, theories, and concepts
Experience in leading and managing an engineering team
Ability to work with cross-functional groups and international teams
Experience in researching, designing, and writing controls software for equipment
Ability to develop and modify existing programs
Experience in creating technical specifications and writing operations documentation
Ability to provide technical support and analyze equipment
Experience in collaborating with production, operations, quality assurance, testing, or maintenance
Ability to review, approve, or modify product design
Experience in auditing, revising, and establishing engineering related work instructions, procedures, and processes
Ability to develop and implement a cross-training program within the department
