Hadrius automates and consolidates securities compliance for investment firms. The Software Engineer Technical Lead Manager role combines individual contribution with people leadership, requiring you to design and ship production code while leading a small team of engineers.

Responsibilities

Day 1: push your first PR to production
Understand the core problems Hadrius solves, our ICP, our value proposition, the Hadrius platform, pricing structure, and roadmap
Learn the Hadrius way: how we work and build for high growth
Get up to speed on the codebase
Contribute to product discussions
Implement a big feature that directly leads to new revenue for the business
You’re already standing out on the team and “leading from the front”
Helping others through code-review and technical design reviews
Continuing to develop the above skillsets and becoming a force multiplier for the team
You are expected to set a high bar for code quality, system design, and operational reliability while helping the team scale sustainably
Training and hiring new team members
Lead the team for feature deliverables
Manage a small team of 4-6 engineers

Qualification

Required

5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer with 1+ years of people management experience
Clear communicator with a penchant for solving problems and product minded
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Preferred

Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment
Experience working in a mature React codebase in production
Experience working in a mature Django/Python codebase in production
Experience building or operating software in regulated, compliance-driven, or fintech environments
