Business Process Specialist
Kelly, in partnership with Johnson & Johnson, is seeking a Business Process Excellence Specialist to support the development and maintenance of standardized processes within US Medical and Scientific Affairs. The role focuses on improving operational efficiency, ensuring compliance, and leading continuous improvement initiatives related to quality-based processes.

Responsibilities
Manage and contribute to projects documenting current-state processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and designing future-state processes aligned with success metrics
Lead and execute major Business Process Quality initiatives to optimize organizational efficiency and quality
Develop and execute roadmaps for process improvement across functional areas aligned with strategic objectives
Drive quality and simplification initiatives by eliminating rework, reducing manual effort, implementing best practices, and standardizing processes through automation
Collect and analyze data, define KPIs, and deliver data-driven insights to support process improvements
Gain stakeholder and team member commitment across a matrixed organization
Coach and guide teams on continuous improvement methodologies, process discipline, and fact-based decision-making
Monitor compliance with policies, processes, and procedures; develop corrective actions and preventative frameworks to avoid recurrence of issues
Serve as CAPA champion, managing quality records and ensuring timely closure and documentation of Quality Event Management records
Partner with the Learning Center of Excellence to ensure training materials align with departmental SOPs and procedural documentation
Lead and conduct end-user training sessions, including curriculum development tailored to varied learning needs
Support Voice of Customer (VOC) surveys, analyze insights and trends, and implement training or process improvements accordingly
Act as audit lead for internal and external audits, managing Controlled Documents (SOPs, WIs, Job Aids) and corrective action plans
Monitor MedRC-approved materials and collaborate with leadership to mitigate nonconformance risks
Participate in system and process validation, testing, and configuration changes
Lead CAPA activities to achieve quality assurance outcomes
Support development and execution of organizational change initiatives aligned with SOPs, policies, and business objectives
Utilize multiple learning delivery methods (hands-on, live, virtual)
Develop and distribute communications related to system enhancements, process updates, methodologies, and training resources
Ensure training resources are accessible, traceable, and aligned with SOP and policy changes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
3–5 years of relevant experience within the pharmaceutical industry
Experience in quality assurance, healthcare compliance, and writing/interpreting SOPs preferred
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
Ability to collaborate effectively within a matrixed, cross-functional organization
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; ability to tailor communications to diverse audiences
Proven ability to build strong partnerships across all organizational levels, including senior management
Solid understanding of regulatory and healthcare compliance guidelines
Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
Advanced computer proficiency (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
Team-oriented, customer-focused, goal-driven, and solution-oriented mindset
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and develop actionable strategies
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and influence without formal authority
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities
Preferred
Advanced degree or certification highly desirable
