Responsibilities

Leading key financial functions and providing strategic insights. Overseeing and performing all core accounting functions, including cost accounting, accounts receivable (including collections), accounts payable, payroll processing, and comprehensive reconciliations

Leading financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and in-depth analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improved performance across all company divisions

Acting as a strategic financial adviser to upper management, providing data-driven recommendations aligned with corporate strategy

Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, including assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses

Collaborating effectively with external CPAs for tax and financial planning initiatives

Providing leadership, guidance, and coaching to the accounting team, including direct oversight of a Bookkeeper

Monitoring financial performance, processes, and policies to ensure accountability and compliance

Actively participating in company meetings, contributing to discussions, and completing assigned action items in a timely manner

Assisting with general office administration, including answering phones and cross-training on various office functions to support overall company operations

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is highly preferred, or several years of equivalent professional experience demonstrating advanced accounting proficiency

Must have proven experience in manufacturing or industrial services accounting

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and make sound recommendations

Demonstrated leadership ability with experience in supervising, coaching, or mentoring accounting staff

Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
