Mission Staffing is seeking a Vice President to join its Structured Credit team in New York, focusing on private asset-based finance and specialty credit investments. The role involves underwriting, structuring, and executing bespoke transactions while collaborating closely with senior leadership on deal execution and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

Lead underwriting and execution of private ABF and specialty finance transactions, including warehouse facilities, forward flow agreements, and other bespoke credit structures

Build and review detailed cash flow, borrowing base, and waterfall models; perform scenario and stress analyses

Drive transaction execution end-to-end, coordinating diligence, structuring, documentation, and closing with legal counsel, counterparties, and third-party advisors

Prepare and present investment memoranda and recommendations to the investment committee

Monitor and manage portfolio performance, covenant compliance, and collateral performance across multiple strategies

Evaluate new origination opportunities and support relationship management with specialty finance companies, fintechs, and intermediaries

Contribute to the structuring and launch of new strategies, products, and capital solutions

Mentor and review work product of junior investment professionals

Required

6–10+ years of experience in private structured credit, asset-based finance, or specialty lending

Background from a private credit fund, specialty finance platform, structured credit investor, or investment bank with ABF coverage

Strong understanding of collateral-based lending, credit risk, and deal documentation

Advanced financial modeling skills, including borrowing base and cash flow analysis

Experience presenting to investment committee–level materials and working directly with senior stakeholders

Ability to operate independently in a lean, fast-paced investment environment
