Responsibilities

Technical evaluations on submarines concerning degradation of hull structure

Application of industry standards

Development of subsequent repair direction

Technical oversight of trade processes

Research and interpret technical requirements

Generate sound technical direction

Provide process support as work is executed on the ship

Engineering evaluation of structural inspection results to determine extent of structural degradation due to corrosion

Generation of applicable repair direction based upon requirements and specifications

Engineering support for coatings and special hull treatment

Regularly interact with audiences ranging from craft workers in the trade to senior Engineering management
